Jazz Watts, Founder, and CEO
Jazz Watts, the founder of Jazz Stepping Stones, was founded in 2012. With 10 years of experience in Transitional Housing, Life Coaching, Mentor. Prior to Transitional Housing, Jazz spent 18 years as a member service coordinator with NAMM. Jazz offers a wide range of programs and services – from Housing, Job preparedness, to healthy and daily living skills. Jazz specializes in helping women in need of temporary housing while securing jobs and securing permanent housing, as well as staying drug and alcohol-free.
After a successful career in life skills, Jazz now coaches other people to achieve the same success. Jazz is no stranger to homelessness currently in southern California. She has spent 10 years as a housing provider.
Ken J. Gordon Jr., Director
Dr. Ken J. Gordon is a global sales and marketing executive, award-winning author, and celebrated pastor whose successful 30-year professional career has spanned the healthcare, biotech, government, and non-profit sectors.
In addition to his professional accolades, Ken has long been active in his local community. Appointed to Human Relations Commissions in Colorado and New Jersey, he was also elected President of the School Board – and, later, Deputy Mayor – of a township in New Jersey. After earning a dual doctorate degree in Christian Counseling and Communications from James Dussault Pentecostal Seminary, he was consecrated as a pastor and planted churches in Colorado, New Jersey, and Alabama. He is a Diamond Life Member of the NAACP, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and the award-winning author of several books on faith activation, engaged fatherhood, and social justice.
Derrick Wood, Director/Treasurer
Derrick R. Wood is a successful author, veteran, entrepreneur, family man and is currently serving as Mayor of Dumfries, Virginia. Respected as a leader wherever he goes, Wood has garnered the support of many with his commitment to community service and his relentless quest to create a world where excellence is the standard.
Constantly pursuing higher heights, the Marine veteran can be found ushering in various waves of purpose-fueled living. Knowing firsthand the power of perseverance, Wood empowers others to pursue their purpose with vigor and intentionality. His modern and unique approach to leadership and impact have left room for opportunities to share his transformational words of wisdom on rediscovering purpose, refocusing vision, clarifying potential, and more.

Terence is married to Vanessa Webster they share five children and ten grandchildren. He is a man of faith and Deep Convictions. His life experiences serve as his passion, navigation, and drive to succeed in all endeavors continue to help everyone to advance to the next level in life.

Terence Encyclopedia Webster, U.S. Marnie Corp Veteran, Retired 1996, California Real Estate Agent, 17 years. Entrepreneur, community activist. Proud member of The Involve Men of Oceanside. Owner and operator of Semi-Pro. Football team North County Cobras, and the 2009 National Champs of the Le Belle Community Football League, Member of the NAACP, Executive board.
